A Personal Statement

There was a time when one of my personal goals was to own a Lexus LFA, a symbol of achievement, success, and the rewards of hard work. But as my faith has deepened, that ambition has been replaced by something far greater.

My desire is no longer to build a life centered on what I can acquire for myself, but to commit my earnings, my work, and the opportunities God gives me toward accomplishing His will. I trust Him to lead my steps. I have chosen to die to my own ambitions and to walk in the light of the Lord, following the path He has prepared for me rather than the one I once imagined for myself.

In these times, I believe few responsibilities are more important than preparing the children of the next generation. Their education will help shape not only their knowledge, but their character, their convictions, their understanding of truth, and ultimately the kind of men and women they become.

For that reason, helping ensure that future generations have access to the same sound, excellent education grounded in Christian truth that I was blessed to receive through The Master's Academy as a child has become part of my life's work. The education I received there helped establish a foundation of faith, character, discipline, and truth during some of the most formative years of my life. I now feel called to help preserve and strengthen that opportunity for the generations that follow me.

My hope is to support The Master's Academy of NW FL and help provide the resources necessary for it to continue shaping young lives through academic excellence and Christian truth. I want future students to have a place where their minds can be developed, their character strengthened, and their God given gifts cultivated with the understanding that their lives have a purpose greater than themselves.

Since God has provided the means, I want to become a tool for His Kingdom, using what He has entrusted to me to build, serve, educate, and create opportunities for those who come after me. I do not know every step ahead, nor do I need to. My responsibility is to remain faithful to the step He places before me and to allow Him to direct where my resources, work, and life can serve His purposes most faithfully.

The legacy I now desire is not measured by what I owned, but by what God was able to accomplish through what He entrusted to me.

With love,

A Commitment to the Next Generation
